Built in-house, end to end
Volkan manufactures its vehicles "totally from chassis to all superstructure components." The MFPN fire pumps, WG-series bumper and roof turrets, foam proportioners, CAFS, hose reels and hand nozzles are all Volkan-engineered and tested under one roof in Turkey — meaning Allen + Co. can support the entire system, not a stitched-together stack.
Lightweight composite, maximum payload
Lion-class superstructures use lightweight composite materials and polypropylene tanks to "reduce net weight to the minimum and maximise the speed of intervention." On Caribbean runways where every kilo of agent on board buys you another arc of foam, that weight discipline matters.
Specified for our climate
Salt air, heat soak, year-round humidity and long ferry distances between islands all attack ARFF reliability. Allen + Co. specifies Lion-class vehicles with the corrosion protection, cooling, ABS, centralised tyre inflation and centralised lubrication options needed for tropical airfield duty cycles.

MFPN-series fire pumps (rated to 10,000 L/min on Lion 6x6/8x8) drive WG-series roof and bumper turrets — the WG 9000 SE roof turret reaches 110 metres at standard pressure.
Foam & CAFS
Integrated foam proportioning with optional Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS), DCP, Halotron and 3M NOVEC 1230 auxiliary agents — specified to your foam doctrine and certification requirements.
Hose reels, nozzles & PPE
Hand-laid hose reels, Volkan hand nozzles, and the Volkan VFS line of structural and ARFF protective clothing — sourced through the same supply chain as the apparatus.
