The privacy of every visitor to allenandco.ca is very important to Allen + Co. Caribbean Inc. ("Allen + Co", "we", "us") and is respected at all times. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Allen + Co does not collect personal information except when it is provided to us voluntarily by a visitor with their consent — for example, when you submit our contact form, request a demo, download a brochure that requires a form, subscribe to a newsletter, or email us directly.
The personal information we may collect with your consent includes: your name, organisation, role, country, email address, telephone number, and any details you choose to share in your message.
We also collect non-personal, anonymised analytics data — such as page views, browser type, operating system, approximate location (country/region), and referring URL — for the limited purpose of understanding how the website is used and improving its content. This data does not allow us to identify any individual visitor.

Allen + Co does not sell, rent or loan your personal information to any outside parties. We may share information with our manufacturer partners (CEIA, SureScan, Viken, XRC, BIOEX, Volkan Makina, Oshkosh, Pierce, FireCraft Safety, FESTI, Hudson Analytix and others) only when necessary to fulfil a specific request you have made — for example, when arranging a demo, processing a quotation, or providing manufacturer-direct technical support — and only with the minimum information required.
We may also disclose information where required by law, by a regulatory body, or in response to a lawful request from a government authority.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable law. Records associated with equipment we have supplied may be retained for the operational life of that equipment plus a reasonable additional period for warranty and audit.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information (subject to legal, regulatory and contractual retention requirements); withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; and lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Allen + Co takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure; we recommend you do not include sensitive information in unencrypted email.

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Allen + Co may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the "Last updated" date noted at the top.
