In 2002, BIOEX became the first manufacturer to launch a fluorine-free foam concentrate (F3). Two decades on, the ECOPOL family is the global benchmark for PFAS-free Class B firefighting - proven on hydrocarbon, polar-solvent and aircraft fuel fires.

BIOEX foams are tested and approved to EN1568, ICAO, IMO, NFPA and UL - and ECOPOL/ECOPOL F hold GreenScreen certification, the first ecolabel for PFAS-free firefighting foams. ECOPOL A+ is purpose-formulated for aircraft applications.
