Products & manufacturers
Which manufacturers does Allen + Co. represent?
We partner with CEIA (electromagnetic threat detection), SureScan (CT-based security), Viken (X-ray imaging), XRC (cabinet X-ray), Oshkosh and Volkan (ARFF vehicles), BIOEX (fire-fighting foam), FireCraft Safety (PPE), Siddons-Martin and others.
Can I see equipment in person before buying?
We encourage every customer to visit the supplier or an existing installation before making a purchase. We'll arrange supplier visits, reference-site tours or regional demos on request.
Do you offer equipment trials or loaners?
A trial period can be arranged for smaller portable systems — handheld detectors, compact X-ray units and similar.
Can existing equipment be upgraded, or only replaced?
Many of the larger scanners can receive software upgrades to detect additional threats as they become known — extending operational life rather than requiring full replacement.
Can equipment be tropicalised for Caribbean conditions?
Yes — we source equipment with corrosion-resistant treatments, tropicalised electronics and humidity ratings appropriate for Caribbean coastal environments.
Procurement & commercial
How do I request a quote or demo?

Do you sell directly to end-users, or only through tenders and integrators?
We prefer direct quotations with the end-user whenever possible, but also work through tenders and integrators where required.
What payment terms and currencies do you accept?
All quotations are in USD. Standard terms are 50% on order, 40% on shipment and 10% on completion of commissioning.

What warranty terms apply to equipment you supply?
Warranty runs 12 to 25 months on parts depending on the equipment and manufacturer.
Do you provide remote diagnostics or preventive-maintenance programs?

Airports, seaports, government, prisons, customs and police.
Can you support one-off event security (summits, sports, conferences)?
No — we focus on permanent installations and ongoing operations rather than one-off events.
Do you help clients meet regulatory compliance requirements?
Yes — most screening equipment we supply is ECAC, TSA and STAC certified, meeting international aviation and security standards.
Can you design a full solution — not just supply equipment?
We work with partners and suppliers who can design and integrate the respective equipment as part of a complete solution.

How do trainees get certified, and is the certification internationally recognised?
